The 750APB 7/8-9 is a high performance bright spiral point tap from the Blue Band series. It is made from 3% Vanadium M35 Cobalt Steel and is intended for tapping mild steels up to 25HRc.
This tap is suited to general machine tapping of mild carbon steels and high speed CNC production tapping applications where high stress and high heat may be present, including materials such as 1018, 1010, 1035, 1045, 1050 and 1065.
